  I used the drive thru service a week ago. I had to two checks and two deposit slips. The deposits should have been made into two different accounts. I discovered a few days ago that both deposits went into only one account. When I came in to make another deposit (inside the branch this time), I was told by the teller that she could not transfer the funds, she could not do anything for me and suggested that I have the second party do a transfer. I'm confused. Wasn't it "YOU" who made the mistake. Why do I have to correct it. She then said maybe a woman sitting in the office could help me. They did not know what forms to complete or even how to begin to correct their error. The woman in the office called another area and was finally told how to correct this but that it take about 48 hours before transfer would show up in my account. There currently is no manager at this branch and only one teller working. Though the teller is courteous and was apologetic, the service leaves a great deal to be desired. They need a skilled and knowledgeable staff and manager. Corporate Headquarters, please help them so they can service your customers better!!!

  I needed a cashiers check, I read previous reviews, so was apprehensive about going to this branch. I called ahead to ask if they did cashiers check as this is not my local branch. The person that answered the phone, was really nice and confirmed they do cashiers checks all tellers. I went in and Rubin waited on me. He was delightful, made me feel really good; even though I had no great expectations after reading the previous reviews. He was quick and he even made some small talk to make me feel comfortable. The only thing I think that should be reviewed with the employees, is that not everyone speaks Spanish and when people communicate amongst themselves, they need to be cognizant of the people around them. Many people feel like they are talking about them, when others engage in a language they don't understand. I will say this, Rubin spoke clear English to me, and didn't engage in Spanish during my visit with any other employee. I will definitely go back to this branch on Dumfries Road in Manassas, VA, and I will hope to get Rubin again or someone like him. Kudos to Rubin, I think he will go a long way with PNC.

  The tellers are always friendly and smiling. I also bank at BB&T, which is right next to this PNC branch, and the tellers there always have a morbid look about them, some of them even seem to resent your presence.
